for Microsoft Excel 97 and Excel 2000 -- and Excel 2002
Excel 2002 Compatibility NoteExcel 2002 is the latest version of Excel, and is part of Microsoft Office XP. PUP 2000 works perfectly with Excel 2002, with one exception: The Add Path to Header or Footer utility may generate an error. This is due to a new security setting in Excel 2002. This new setting, by default, does not allow automated changes to a workbook's Visual Basic project. The Add Path to Header or Footer utility works by creating a VBA macro. To avoid this error, you will need to change your security setting. To do so:
Note: If your workbooks will be used exclusively in Excel 2002, the Add Path to Header or Footer utility is no longer necessary. This feature is now built-into Excel 2002. You can instruct Excel to print a workbook's full path in a header or footer by using the Page Setup dialog box. If you decide to take advantage of this new feature in Excel 2002, you will need to remove the VBA macro created by the Add Path to Header or Footer utility. To do so, invoke this utility and select the Remove Path tab in the Add Path to Header or Footer dialog box.
