About the Free Updates

The goal is to make every component of PUP 2000 error-free and accurate. Free bug fixes and updated files are available from this page. These files will not work unless you have PUP 2000 installed (either the licensed version or the Trial Version).

Installing an update file

  1. Click the link in the Update File column to download the updated file to your hard drive. Each update is contained in a self-extracting EXE file.
  2. Make sure Excel is not running.
  3. Execute the file.
  4. Specify the directory in which you installed PUP 2000 (by default, this is directory is c:\program files\pup2000).

Oct-06-99		 Corrects the error that occurs when attempting to delete all bookmarks. Also corrects a run-time error that may occur when the add-in loads.

About version numbers

To find out the version number of a particular PUP 2000 utility, locate the *.utl file in an Explorer window. Right-click the file name and select Properties. In the Properties dialog box, click the Summary tab. The version number is listed in the Keyword field. The version number for the initial release of PUP 2000 is Version 4.0. Updated files will have a later version number.
